How do you clean a spoked hub?

Wondering how you go about cleaning a spoked hub? How about the area between the spokes? .... Maybe a pressure sprayer? How about blasting with walnut shells? I've never tried the walnut shells. I have glass beads in my sandblasting cabinet, maybe I will give that a try.

I did do a sandblasting job for a computer solder masking company, we were blasting the green coating off of the bad boards so they could re-screen print them with the new green coating. Anyway, we used walnut shells, they were abrasive enough to knock off the mask without damaging the board.

I heard that a neighbor had a bike sitting outside that was slightly oxidized. They had it sandblasted with walnut shells and apparently it looked like new. I never saw it but that's what I heard.

I should get a couple of bags of walnut shells and run them through my outside sand blaster...
